Funding Updates

CMHS Announces 2007 TCE Grantees
In September, CMHS awarded jail diversion grants to the Diversion Treatment Court in DeKalb County, GA, and the Office of Mental Health in Monroe County, NY.  Since 2002, CMHS has awarded 34 grants through the Targeted Capacity Expansion for Jail Diversion Programs initiative.  For information on grantees from previous years, click here.

Florida Criminal Justice/Mental Health Grants
The RFA is now available for the Florida Substance Abuse and Mental Health Corporation’s Criminal Justice, Substance Abuse, and Reinvestment Grant Program.  Planning and implementation grants will be awarded.  Applications are due November 1, 2007.  more…

Call for Presentations Graphic

The 2008 CMHS National GAINS Center Conference is now accepting proposals for presentations. In keeping with the theme of Creating More Effective Services, the center is seeking presentations that focus on innovative programs and practices, especially those with solid empirical data supporting their effectiveness.

The deadline to submit presentation proposals has been extended to October 30, 2007.
